Installation

1. Is it necessary that the computer is always connected to the battery from the boat?

No, we can choose to connect the equipment to the boat battery (12V or 24V), or connect it directly to-220v outlet port through the feeder is supplied with all equipment. If it is necessary that the equipment is always connected in some way or another, at least while the boat is not moving.

For equipment PRO-251 and PRO-252, one and two transducers respectively, can also be used solar panel systems that are sold separately. 2. Do I need to remove the boat from the water to install the system?

No, the system can be installed with the boat in the water and not have to make any holes in the hull of the boat.

 

3. Should I make a hole into the hull of my boat?

No, you do not have to make any holes in the hull of the boat. The ultrasonic transducers are attached to the hull with a putty subministrada with the team, not going through it. 5. How many should I install transducers on my boat?

For boats with lengths greater must be installed over a computer, for example, in a vessel of 20 meters should be installed 2 PRO-258 equipment.

6. I can install the system on a boat hull "sandwich"?

Yes, the system can be installed in a boat hull "sandwich", but we have access to the outer hull (the hull). According to the boat this condition the place we chose to place the transducers. 7. I can install the system in a double-hulled boat?

Yes, the system can be installed in a double-hulled boat, but we have access to the outer hull (the hull). According to the boat this condition the place we chose to place the transducers. 8. Who can install the equipment in my boat?

Operation

9. What if the computer gets wet from water or other liquid?

There's absolutely nothing.

Transducers and cables are designed so they can work flooded and, if placed in the bilge and this is filled with water or other non-corrosive liquid, no-we have to worry about anything.

The control box has also been designed to be tight and not allow in wet conditions, however, the dip is not recommended since improper installation of this can lead to loss of sealing properties.

 

10. What has the computer power consumption?

Depending on the placement of transducers on different equipment will consume. 16. Does this system work with helmets antifouling any material?

The Ultrasonic Antifouling works very well with fiber helmets, works even better with metal helmets, but does not work with wooden hulls. This is because vibrations propagate through the hull and wood is a material that absorbs, so it is impossible to spread-the.
